The care & attention I received at Goring Hall was first class. All the nurses, doctors & ancillary staff treated me with utmost care & attention, I couldn't find fault with any of them. All of them smiled and were happy, it made such a difference to how I felt at such a difficult time.

All the Staff were very good and I was delighted that having arrived at Reception at 7.30 am I was in Theatre at 9.00 am. I am very delighted at my treatment in Goring Hall as I have been at this Hospital before. The Staff listened to what I said which was of importance to me. Keep up the good work.

Goring Hall is set in idyllic surroundings. On entering the building the peacefullness and ambiance are obvious. Each member of staff I met, whether on reception or during the various assessments, were extremely polite and patient. Nursing staff took time to explain each step of any procedure they were about to perform which had a very relaxing effect. The pre-op team were chatty and explained each step in a way that was easy to understand. My only criticism would be relevant to my attendance whereby I had arrived in time for my 07.30 appointment. A slight delay in being taken to my bed was no problem. However, I was not kept informed as to why I was still waiting some two hours later. Eventually a member of the nursing staff advised me I would probably be going to surgery at 13.30. I appreciate situations can arise in hospital which can throw the list off kilter but it would have been nice to be kept in the loop. Overall I cannot praise Goring Hall highly enough. I would have no worries about attending their hospital for any future treatment I may need.

The hospital was very clean and comfortable and I was happy with the care I received. The only point I would make is that the roads near the hospital are not that well marked up and we over shot the turning for the hospital but this could be corrected with more signs. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and I would recommend Goring Hall Hospital to friends and family.
